Race Times:
11:00am - Vet (40+), Women Open, Single Speed (45 minutes plus 1 lap)
12:30pm - Men's B, Clydesdale/Tandem (45 minutes plus 1 lap)
2:00pm - Kids Race (2 laps)
2:15pm - Men's A (60 minutes plus 1 lap)
Awards: Medals and Cash or prizes awarded for all classes five deep.
Medals for all participating in kids race.

From the folks that brought you great events like the "Morgantown Road Race" and the nationally known "Tour of Tucker County" the Backyard Bike Club is happy to bring you "The Blackwater Cyclocross". The race takes places in historic downtown Davis, West Virginia. Come for the race and then take advantage of the local food, shopping and outdoor adventures!
Course:
The Blackwater Cyclocross course has a mix of just about everything you could want. With pavement, dirt trails, grassy pathways, high speed sections, tight turns, a sand pit and our very own "spiral to no where". It is also a extremely flat course, which means FAST! The course also sits just beside the Blackwater river so you can cool you toes in the water after you ride!

on Bikereg.com for only $20. Race day registration will be $25 and will open at 9:00AM. Race day registration opens at 9:00 AM, and closes at 10:30 AM
How to get there:
From Morgantown, WV - Take I-68 to exit #4 at Friendsville, Maryland. Then take Route 42 South to McHenry. Turn onto 219 south. Follow 219 south to Thomas, West Virginia. Then turn left onto Route 32 for 2 miles to Davis, WV. Travel Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes.From Pittsburgh, PA - Take I-79 south to Morgantown, West Virginia. Then turn onto I-68 east. Take I-68to exit #4 at Friendsville, Maryland. Then take Route 42 South to McHenry. Turn onto 219 south. Follow 219 south to Thomas, West Virginia. Then turn left onto Route 32 for 2 miles to Davis, WV.. Travel Time: 2 hour, 30 minutes.
From Washington, DC - Take I-68 to exit #14 at Keyers Ridge, Maryland. Turn onto 219 south. Follow 219 south to Thomas, West Virginia. Then turn left onto Route 32 for 2 miles to Davis, WV.Travel Time: 3 hour 30 minutes.
From Charleston, WV - Take I-79 north to Weston, West Virginia. Then turn onto route 33 east. Take route till the express way comes to and end. Then take 219 north to Thomas, West Virginia. Then turn right onto Route 32 for 2 miles to Davis, WV. Travel Time: 2 hour, 30 minutes.
