at home cause it's WV and we got pot holes, but do not forget your climbing
legs, and yes, they can have hair on them too. We don't judge! If you want to
climb your legs off come join us over in West "by god" Virginia for
some wicked hard yet truly fun grassroots road racn'!! This race course has
just about everything a cyclist could wish for in ridge top views, back country
road, big climbs and gear pounds flats. ts.
This course starts and finishes at Gospel Tabernacle Church on
Shannon Run Road. This race course has just about everything a cyclist could
wish for in ridge top views, back country road, big climbs and gear pounds
flats. Starting out at Gospel Tabernacle Church you head west towards Mason
Dixon Road on Buckeye Road. Then we head towards Blacksville on
route 7. Then it is a right turn to head North on RT 218 into Pennsylvania.
Ride 218 all the way up to Waynesburg. A quick right on cook road and over top
the mountain you will find yourself returning south on Sugar Run Road. At
Kirby, PA take a right on Kirby road and then it back country roads all the way
back to the finish in Mt Morris.

Race day registration will be $30 and will open at 9:00AM. USAC
license required for Men's Cat 1/2/3 & Women's Cat 1/2/3 classes, one day
licenses are available at race site for $10 for all classes except Men's
Cat 1/2/3 & Women's Cat 1/2/3. Race day registration opens at 9:00 AM, and
closes at 11:30 AM.
How to get there: Map to
Parking Area
Take I-79 to exit 1 (Mount Morris) in Pennsylvania just over the
West Virginia border. Then head west on Locust Ave until you come to the first
stop sign. Then take a right on RT 19 for only 400 feet. Then turn left on to
Shannon Run Road for ½ mile. Parking on the right is at Gospel Tabernacle
Church. The address for the church is 103 School Road, Mount Morris, PA
15349.
Rules:
Race runs rain or shine. All USCF and NCCA rules apply. Riders
must wear helmets at all times. Course is open to traffic; obey all traffic
regulations. Centerline rule is strictly enforced. Littering on the course is
prohibited
Awards:
Cash awards for Men's Cat 1/2/3, Women's Cat 1/2/3, Men's 40+ and
Men's 50+. Merchandise prizes for Women's Cat 4 and Men's Cat 5.
Junior will receive medals. We will be going five deep in all
class. Promoter my go deeper with awards depending on class sizes.
Claiming Prizes:
Prizes will be distributed at the Gospel Tabernacle Church area
within 1 hour of race results being posted. All prizes not claimed at the race
are forfeit.
Results will be sent to USACycling.org.
