Course: A traditional East Coast Cyclocross course consisting of a combination of pavement, grass, gravel and sand sections...natural & mad-made barriers and short hills. This is a technical course with many tight turns and fast, paved sections.
Your Racing Age is your age as of 31 December 2010. Online registration closes Thursday, 26 November 2009 at 5 p.m. (EST). Day-of registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes 45 minutes prior to each event’s posted start time. The Day-of registration service charge is $5.00. All riders MUST possess a valid 2009 USAC racing license. Unlicensed riders must purchase a One-Day license ($10.00) to race. The standard USA Cycling 2009 Event Release Form is used. No mail-in registration. No refunds.
Complimentary entries shall be issued to the current PACX series champions (Cat 1/2/3 Men & Women) and current Cyclocross National Champions. To receive comp’ed entry you must e-mail the promoter prior to Wednesday, 26 November and MUST wear the National Champion’s or series leader’s jersey and ride in the appropriate category.
Rules: All USAC Cyclocross rules apply. Mountain Bikes are allowed to race … bar-ends MUST be removed (USAC rule 1J1.(d)). The event shall be held rain-or-shine. Entry fee includes $3.00 USAC insurance surcharge. This event is held under USAC permit - pending.
Call-up Protocol: Call-ups shall be based on 2008 PA State Champions, 2009 PCA-PACX series ranking, order of registration and promoter’s discretion. Riders may begin staging in the start grid 10 minutes prior to the start of each event.

Sever Weather Policy: In the event of severe weather, which may cause an event delay or cancellation, the following protocol will be followed:
The weather at race time shall be assessed by the promoter; in conjunction with the landowner, Chief Referee and/or local law enforcement agencies.
o If the conditions are deemed unsafe for competition, the promoter shall issue a 15-minute delay.
§ Participants shall be warned to seek appropriate shelter/stay out of the weather.
o At the conclusion of the 15-minute delay, the weather shall be re-assessed.
§ If the conditions are deemed suitable for competition, the race shall be started.
§ If the conditions are deemed unsafe for competition, the promoter shall issue a second, 15-minute delay and warning.
o At the conclusion of the second, 15-minute delay, the weather shall be re-assessed.
§ If the conditions are deemed suitable for competition, the race shall be started.
§ If the conditions are deemed unsafe for competition, the promoter shall issue a notification.
· The second delay shall be the final delay for EACH category.
· The promoter shall issue a statement regarding the continuation or cancellation of subsequent categories or the event at the time of the second notification.
o In the event the weather forces the cancellation of all categories the event shall be shut down.
§ The event shall not be rescheduled for the current calendar year.
§ Unfortunately, refunds are not available due to a day-of weather cancellation of an event.
