Cyclocross is a unique sport, the best sport, combining all sorts of
terrain and challenges within a very spectator friendly 2-3 kilomoter
long course, taped off with caution tape. One of the most appealing
qualities of 'cross is how spectator friendly and social it is. Unlike
other cycling sports where you don't see the racers inbetween the start
and finish area, in cross you can watch all the action unfold right
before your eyes. Check out this great trailer for
"Transitions" to get a better idea of what cyclocross is like.
With a history well steeped in mid-atlantic cross culture, welcome the return of the classic east coast cross venue of the marysville lions club. From the MAC to PA State Championships to the PA Cross series, this is a great venue with a lot of history and I am proud to resurrect it as a 2009 venue.

Course Description:Your
Classic Cyclocross Course with barriers and variable terrain including
grass, pavement, and gravel. The 2-3 KM Closed course makes it great
for spectating. Course will be flowing and difficult, making use of
natural run-ups, off cambers, and endless cornering. Look for some wide
open power sections and enough technical riding to make it a true
crosser's course. The main feature will be the run/ride?-up of sunshine
and rainbows. Why sunshine and rainbows? Because too many obstacles are
of doom or death or pain......its overused. This way I lure people in
and beat them into submission.
