BIKE [+more] DELAWARE is a community-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to making cycling & walking safe, convenient & fun transportation options in Delaware through policy research and nonpartisan advocacy. As advocates, we successfully lobbied for the creation of Delaware's "transportation trails" policy and program that created spectacular new trails like the Markell Trail and Lewes-Georgetown Trail. As educators, we host transportation professionals and government officials at an annual conference bringing experts from all over the country - and even the world! - to Delaware every year. And as strong proponents of cycling and pedestrian safety, we worked with Delaware's legislature to pass the most pro-bike Rules of the Road anywhere in America in addition to helping create the Bikeway Innovation Grant program which assists Delaware cities and towns build bicycle infrastructure. We work hard - every day! - to make cycling a solution for more and more people in Delaware.
