The Michiana Bicycle Association (MBA) was established in 1974 to promote fitness, friendship and fun through cycling.

Serving the South Bend metro area, the club currently has over 50 members including cyclists of all abilities and ages. The MBA sponsors 5 weekly rides during the riding season and 3 weekly rides year-around (weather permitting).

The MBA's legal name is "The Michiana Bicycle Association, Incorporated". The MBA is an IRS Section 501(C)(4) non-profit. Organizations chartered under this section of the IRS code are known as Social Welfare Organizations. Donations to 501(C)(4) organizations are not tax deductible.

The MBA is also the sponsor of the annual Amishland and Lakes bike tour https://amishlandlakes.com. This classic bike tour is based in LaGrange, Indiana in the center of northern Indiana Amish country.
