Championship Point Series
The Championship Point Series (CPS) is Michigan's premier grassroots racing series. The CPS raises funds to support local mountain bike chapters in their ongoing advocacy work and trail improvements. This race series attracts all levels of racers, from the first-timers to national and world champions. These races are exciting and competitive, as well as beginner-friendly for those wishing to try their first mountain bike race. The CPS has been supporting races and racers twenty years. The series is a unique collaboration between the MMBA chapters (as fundraising activities) and the Michigan's leading mountainbike race promoters.
Everyone is welcome to compete in any CPS race. Those who wish to be counted in the standings and eligible to win series awards can do so simply by registering here on BikeReg.com for their specific race category. See the CPS rules for more information at http://mmba.org/programs/championship-point-series/

Maybury Chapter Benefit
Support the fourth chapter event as the MetroSouth MMBA brings you the hard packed and flowing singletrack plus some trail not usually allowed except on race day. At Maybury's singletrack, you will find it faster togo slower rather than sprint and brake constantly.
Addison Oaks Fall Classic
Truely a fall classic, CRAMBA-IMBA hosts the 9th race at the Addison Oaks County Park, on the second Sunday in September. This family-friendly event features hard packed clay on a flowing, fun trail. The course layout and flow provides a fast and enjoyable trail, for everyone from a first-time racer to a seasoned expert.
The series finale - a tough 4-1/2 mile course, Pando has everything a mountainbike trail should have in its shorter loops- technical climbs, technical descents and technical singletrack as well as wide passing areas as well as long bombin' descents... oh, and the climb up the ski hill on each lap!! Enjoy.
To be tabulated you must go to the Championship Point Series registration here on BikeReg.com. There is no charge to register for the series and if you are not an MMBA member you can do that on the same registration activity- register for MMBA membership and CPS registration all during one visit to here to BikeReg.com.
(Some CPS races are also on BikeReg and you can register for them during this same visit).
Also, the Championship Point Series is supporting the MMBA Scholastic Cycling Association. The youth cycling initiative aims to bring more young people to our sport. In that initiative, you will notice some minor changes to the race categories for youth.
