Race Has Been Moved to Sun, March 30
Due to the extreme and unusual weather this year, the course at Woodstock was too icy and snow bound to hold the race on March 9th. So we have moved it to March 30th.

A portion of the proceeds from this race go to support M.O.R.E.'s trail improvements in the McKeldin and Woodstock Areas of Patapsco Valley State Park. The same will be true for the Mother's Day Mauler and Woodstock Wrecker.
The Patapsco Valley Series
Anyone racing 4 of these races will receive an awesome Patapsco Valley Series dry-fit sports shirt.
We sponsor M.O.R.E projects!
The trail project shown here will add trail to do away with a section that is now 2-way.
A significant portion of the funds from this race will be used to support M.O.R.E. sponsored projects within the Northern Portion of Patapsco Valley State Park. This year we are sponsoring two major things for M.O.R.E.
- Purchasing tools so that M.O.R.E. can have more volunteers at trail days
- Sponsoring trail days for a MAJOR trail build to do away with a two way section of trail in the South Woodstock area. This new trail (shown in yellow on the map) will add awesome new trail allowing for an MTB loop, and do away with
the two way section of the Patapsco 100 and Woodstock Wrecker.

That means that for each solo category at least 12 riders must be signed up for each of the different races, and that for each team category at least 12 teams must be signed up for each of the different races. For races with less than 12 riders/teams, the top three places will receive a refund of their entry fee as the cash prize, as well as race trophies. For races with less than 7 riders/teams, only race trophies will be given.
$500 = $225, $175, $100 + Podium Trophies
$825 = $350, $275, $200 + Podium Trophies
$1125 = $450, $375, $300 + Podium Trophies
Entry Fee – the top 3 riders get their entry fee refunded + Podium Trophies
Premes – 6 Prizes will be awarded. One each for the man and woman having the Overall Fastest Lap and for
the Fastest Final Lap will be awarded for each category (Solo, Duo, Triple).
The 8 hour race will begin as a mass start at 9:00 AM. We would like to have the races completed as close to 5:00 PM as possible. Since Laps will take roughly 40 min - 1 hr, the cut off for starting your last lap will be 4:15 PM. This way, we will end close to 5:00, but you get to keep the last lap scored even if you come in after 5:01.
This will be a standard relay format with one rider from each team on course at a time, and where racers on a team must try to do the same number of laps. You don't need to switch every lap, but you should not have more than a 1 lap difference from your teammates at the end of the race. For example, if your team does 10 laps - in a duo team, each racer should have done 5 laps - in trio team, two racers should have done 3 laps and one race done 4 laps.
Scoring will be Solo racers & Teams will be (1) by most laps completed, then (2) by shortest time to do those number of laps...
Awards will be at or around 5:30 PM. We'll have a nice selection of beer and a couple fire pits (if its cold), so stick around cheer for the winners!!!
