NOTE Wait list Change for 2014: If you have registered as a WAIT LIST, you will be contacted IN THE ORDER OF YOUR BIKEREG registration date via an email. You will be contacted in the order you registered and will only be charged a registration fee if you are moved from the waitlist into a race category. The final deadline for changes in the waitlist will be Tuesday, May 13th at 5:00 pm.
The team format will also be available. Three person teams will depart at two minute intervals starting at 8:30 and a maximum of 15 teams will be allowed. The team's final time will be determined when the third team member passes the finish line. PLEASE
remember to clearly state your team name when registering!! Teams can be made up of any sex and age; awards will be given for the three fastest teams. Please for safety reasons, no team support vehicles on course during the race.
The solo riders will head out at 9:00 at 15 second intervals.
Number pick-up for the race will be held at Kennett Middle School on 176 Main St in Conway. Entrance to the parking lot is to the right of the school and registration table will be in the cafeteria starting at 7:00am. Riders will then make their way to the DOT parking lot approximately 1/2 mile from the traffic light on the Kangamagus Highway.
Mandatory racer meeting at 8:55 and a 9:00 start (8:25 and 8:30 start for the Team Time Trial)
BECAUSE OF THE NARROW AND WINDING NATURE OF THE HIGHWAY THE RACE IS BEING HELD ON, THE FOREST SERVICE AND SHERRIF'S DEPARTMENT IS ASKING THAT ANY FAMILY OR SPECTATOR VEHCILES PARK ONLY WHERE THERE IS PULL-OUT. ANY CAR PARKED NEXT TO A GUARD RAIL ENDANGERS THE RACERS, THE FUTURE OF THE RACE, AND IMPEDES THE FLOW OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC.
ALL PROTESTS MUST BE MADE, IN PERSON, DURING THE PROTEST PERIOD IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING POSTED RESULTS
NO OTHER PROTEST WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Riders will receive a meal voucher from Fire 21 Pizza which is located across the street from the middle school. All registered riders will receive a t-shirt. Carpooling arrangments from the finish. Helemts are required. This is a public (non-USCF event) all riders welcome.
All proceeds benefit the Kennett High School Mountain Bike Team and the Mount Washington Valley Velo Club Youth Development Cycling Fund.
Field Limit is 200 solo riders and 15, 3 person teams so register EARLY!!!
