The Nine Mile Stage Race is great training for the Everest Challenge!
You may ride one stage or both!
USAC Rules are in effect.
Stage One - 16 miles, 5200' of climbing, summit finish.
Stage Two - 18 or 36 miles, ZERO climbing, fast and flat all the way!
VERY low traffic, breathtaking scenery, terrific support!
Both stages start at the intersection of Nine Mile Canyon road and US395. Four miles North of Pearsonville Shell (and Subway!)...ten miles North of US395/CA14 intersection.
It is easy to ride down to the Start after Stage 1. Yes, it is a point to point climbing stage, but there is only a little bit of uphill in the whole 16 miles.
Stage 2 finishes right at the Start, so you will be back at your cars and ready to head home in time for dinner!
