The Major Taylor Association, Inc., is a nonprofit, tax-exempt [501 (c)(3)] organization raising money to maintain the statue of the 1899 world cycling champion that it put up in his hometown of Worcester, Mass., in 2008, and to educate people about Major Taylor's life and legacy. Donations, minus the value of any premiums received, are tax-deductible.
