As water is an important part not only to cyclists but to all of us in our daily [+more] lives, many years ago the Flatlander committee chose to use the funds raised to assist with water projects that the MCC is doing in third world countries. This years project is for schools in the Bluefields region of Nicaragua. It is estimated that it will benefit nearly 2200 lives in the area.
