Tewksbury Bike Tour

The Tewksbury Bike Tour will take place Saturday, May 16th, 2020 through the scenic byways of Tewksbury Township and the surrounding area. The event will begin and end at Christie Hoffman Park, 108 Fairmount Rd. West, Califon, NJ 07830. Race-day registration will take place at the park and fees my be paid by cash or credit card. Free parking is available at the park.

Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Tewksbury First Aid & Rescue Squad (TFARS). TFARS is an all volunteer first aid and rescue squad celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2020.

Tewksbury Township is one of the most beautiful towns in New Jersey with many scenic roadways, bridges, streams, creeks, barns and farms to take in as you ride through our community. So, there's no surprise Tewksbury attracts cyclists of all levels from surrounding communities in New Jersey and the metropolitan area to take advantage of the bucolic atmosphere Tewksbury provides.

It is with this in mind that the Tewksbury First Aid & Rescue Squad (TFARS) is beginning what is hoped will become an annual event in our friendly village. TFARS provides prehospital, emergency care to the citizens and visitors in our community. We are an all volunteer rescue squad mostly funded through donations and fundraisers we run throughout the year. Our members are made up of people just like you. Moms, dads, professionals, teachers, business owners, retirees, students and more. All are dedicated to helping those in their time of need, which now and then happens to us all.

Your participation in the 2020 Tewksbury Bike Tour will go directly to supporting that cause. We plan to offer two routes through Tewksbury Township and on roadways immediately adjacent to Tewksbury. The routes will comprise distances commensurate with a biker's ability and desires.
