Are you tired of being cooped up indoors during winter? Then it's time to "brake" free and join us for a fun and exciting event to support City Mission on May 4, 2024 (may the fourth be with you). Whether you're a beginner or an experienced cyclist, you're welcome to join us and show your support. We'll also be having a Star Wars costume contest, so come ready to show off your best costume and prove that you're "one with the force".
The event will take you through small scenic towns and stops along the way, helping you build up your endurance for that 100-mile race you've been wanting to do. There will be tours available to meet everyone's needs, and the route will be marked using RideGPS for mapping. Additionally, there will be a police escort for safety out of town and plenty of volunteers along the route.

City Mission Est. 1934 Celebrating 90 years of service in 2024! We have come a long [+more] way!
In 2023, City Mission will provide more than 25,000 nights of lodging to more than 1,500 individuals, including men, women, and children. We will have served 66,000 meals to our guests and 60,000 meals to our community while providing more than 15,000 pounds of food to small schools and community food banks in Hancock County.
We will have provided advocacy for every guest, helping connect to services, including workforce development, transportation, and discipleship. Our bike program helps individuals gain independence by providing transportation to and from employment. Each donated bike provides guests with a newfound choice.
Supporting 130 healthy and successful moveouts this year. With a long way to go!
In 2024, City Mission will be opening a Women with Children’s Emergency Shelter, “Martha’s Home” giving us the opportunity to assist more women with children in crisis. We will also open a Low Barrier Emergency Shelter to serve our community's ongoing needs better.
We can’t do this alone!
Please consider partnering with City Mission in 2024. With your help, we can make this the most impactful year the Mission has ever seen. Give Now – Be part of the solution to hunger and homelessness in Hancock County.
