Race #3
16-Nov-03
Promoter: Skylands Cycling

These results are provided for informational purposes only.  Please note that
the protest period for this event has expired and no changes can or will be made
to these results.

The weather was cloudy and cold in Augusta, but the course was firm and fast for the
third cyclocross race in the series. In the Men's B race, David Eberling, of
Poughkeepsie, New York, took first, riding for Westwood Velo in his first series
appearance. Steve Kane of Brightwaters, New York, also a series newcomer, was second.
Kevin Kielty and Ben Tufford, both of Skylands Cycling, were third and fourth respectively.
Based on preliminary calculations, it appears that Kielty has taken over the top spot
in the series standings.

In the Men's A race, Kissena's Eric Ragot of Brooklyn, NY, held off a last lap charge
by fellow Brooklyn resident Andrew Crooks for his second consecutive win. Ragot has a
solid lead in the overall series standings after three weeks of racing. Brian Lariviere
of Team Bulldog finished third, while Christopher Kerwin, riding for Team Bikery/Monclair
was fourth.

Tara Parsons won the women's open, for the second time in as many weeks. Tara is from
New York City and rides for CRCA/EAS. Liberty Cycle's Nina Santiago, of Dover, NJ,
won the junior contest.

'Cross racers from all over the region continue to discover the excitement and hospitality
of the Augusta Series. There are two races left--Saturday, November 22 and Sunday,
November 30. Come and join us for a great day of racing at the Sussex County Fairgrounds.
