Steve Badger of CRCA Sakonet won the omnium for the 35+ Category. In the 55+ Category, Richard Distlerath won both Denville and Basking Ridge. Chris Stern of Liberty Cycle stole the win in the 15-18 Omnium. Greg Cordasco, owner of Liberty Cycle and race promoter was quoted as saying "Junior riders have always been a focus at Liberty Cycle. With nearly 50 junior participants in this year's event, its wonderful to see that this focus is coming to fruition." Trevor Kahl of Team Liberty Cycle won the overall omnium in the 10-14 category, and won the 10-14 race at Basking Ridge and Denville.
This year's kid's races proved to be just as entertaining for participants and spectators alike with 300+ children participating again. The day was long, but the efforts of the volunteers and racers alike provided a show for the spectators that didn't let up. Liberty Cycle would like to thank all who attended and participated, especially the volunteers who helped to organize the event. We look forward to seeing you next year!!
