HILO CLIMBING TIME TRIAL

ALL PARTICIPANTS - including HCC 1 yr (2020) and 2 yr (2020-12/31/2021) members - MUST ELECTRONICALLY SIGN THE ON-LINE INSURANCE WAVIER.

On Saturday, July 18th the Hilo Climbing Time Trial (HCTT) kicks off the renewal of Hawaii Cycling Club’s 2020 bicycle events.

HCC will follow whatever protocols are required at the time of the HCTT.
Registered participants will be notified of HCTT day procedures as they are developed.

Pre-registration is required. Registration will NOT be available July 18th.

Pre-registration is free on bikereg.com/hiloclimbing2020 from June 18th thru July 14th.

The HCTT will start at 8:30 AM with sign in and issuing of race numbers from 8:00-8:20 AM.

The location for both the sign in and the start is Komohana & Puainako St. in Hilo.
The 12 mile HCTT is challenging for serious bicycle racers (Hammer Heads) and recreational cyclists looking for a new bicycle experience.
The HCTT gains 2521 feet elevation, starting with a 393 foot gain in the first 2 miles and finishing with a gain in elevation of 2123 feet over the last 10 miles.

HCC MEMBERS: Pre-registering at bikereg.com/hiloclimbing2020 is free to HCC 2020 1 year and 2020-2021 2 year members.

Non-HCC Members: Non HCC members must purchase a one day membership/insurance wavier for $10 plus bikereg.com/hiloclimbing2020 fees. The HCC one year and two year memberships will also be available for purchase during the registration process.

FREE STUDENT MEMBERSHIPS: High School and younger students are eligible to sign up for a free 2020 membership. The Membership/Insurance wavier must be signed by a parent or guardian.
