SALES TAX COLLECTION
In accordance with new Marketplace Facilitator laws throughout the United States, athleteReg has released a complete solution to facilitate collecting and remitting sales tax on behalf of our event directors in 40 states.

For states, these laws simplify tax collection, because they can collect from fewer entities. For event directors, the benefit lies in having athleteReg take care of real-time calculations, collection, remittance, and compliance.

VIRTUAL EVENT TOOLS
Our new virtual challenge functionality allows event directors to create compelling virtual events for participants with a visually appealing leaderboard, maps, interactive results, and automated data syncing.

UPDATED SUPPORT HOURS
With fewer events taking place in 2020, we have updated our support hours. If you need us, you will still get the same great support, we just will only be available from 9:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday. We will continue to have limited weekend support, but will focus on more urgent requests and support for directors approaching their event day. 

 

EVENT POP-UP NOTIFICATION
With the new pop-up notification, you can create a dismissible warning for participants that go to your registration page. For example, if your event is canceled or postponed, you can create a short note to let anyone going to the registration page know. This can help reduce confusion and make it very easy to let your participants know what more about the event status, changes, protocols, or other updates.
