Event directors can now enable a feature that allows participants to transfer from one category into another inside of one event. This feature is enabled in General Event Setup and the event director has the choice to charge a category transfer surcharge. Enabling this feature automatically allows participants to edit their entry, so that they can make the transfer.

Transfers from one category to another will be subject to all restrictions that the event director places on the category being transferred into. Transferring into a full category is not possible, and transferring into a category where a license is required is also not possible if the participant cannot provide one.
