Transition Volunteers: Bike Check-in (3 hours) $0 4:00 PM $0
  • Make sure bikes entering transition have a number affixed to their bikes.

  • Assist with filling water bottles to be distributed at the finish line to athletes. Note that time slot says 3pm-5pm but this is flexible.

  • Mark bib number or age on the hand, bicep and calk of athletes with sharpie.

  • Help organize and direct swimmers to the race start; we also need 4 "Counters"... 2 count athletes as they enter the water and 2 count athletes as they exit the water; counter devices are provided

  • Cut fruit, stock ice baths, organize medals, put up tents, hang banners, stock coolers with water, mix Gatorade and other tasks that prepare the finish line to receive athletes.
Finish Line: Shift 1 (9:30am-12:30pm; min age = 17 years old) $0 9:30 AM $0
  • Support athletes at the finish by preparing water bottles, cutting up fruit, keeping water & Gatorade coolers filled, putting finisher medals around the neck of athletes, removing timing chips, etc
Run Volunteers: Mile 0.25; road crossing (4 hours) $0 9:30 AM $0
  • Direct athletes on the run course to ensure they go the right way; provide encouragement.

  • Assist with ensuring recycling, compostable and trash is deposited in the proper bins set up at the event.
