Thank you for registering for the Velo City Riders Cycling Club Inaugural Breast Cancer Awareness Ride! We are excited you have decided to join us in support of this cause. This is a rain or shine event.

The event includes lunch from Tropical Smoothie with a drink and side, SAG support, supported rest stops and raffle entry. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local non-profit organization, Shay Sharpe's Pink Wishes (www.shaysharpespinkwishes.org).

  • Set up: check-in and food tables, Velo tent, information and direction signs, check restrooms for toilet paper, place trash bags, designate and prep DJ area, etc.

  • 7:00am set up registration. 7:30 to 9:30am register participants. 10am begin clearing registration area to prepare for post ride event.

  • 7am pick up supplies at event start location. Set up rest stop, provide refreshments, clean up rest stop. 9am- 3pm. SAG support should notify when last cyclists is leaving rest stop.

  • Assist with fixing flats and minor mechanical issues. Provide transportation back to start point if cyclists cannot complete ride. WILL NOT provide medical assistance. Call 911.
